This report describes the results, of the agglomeration process of coal powder called Pelletizing using the Agitation Method on a Rotary Pan, which was developed at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. Anthracite, bituminous coal and charcoal particles have been pelletized to sizes less than 800 micres obtaining 6 to 50 mm balls, wich can be used as a fuel in many domestic and industrial equipment’s. By this way, coal powder increases its value, storing area is minimized, transportation is easier and pollution and the material loss while handling are greatly reduced.
